WHY, HELLO AGAIN.

Sound familiar? Again, I apologize. I so totally fell out of the internet, yet when I come back here I realize I kind of miss it. So here I am!

Not much of interest has been going on here, just school and work and school. Let's see, I haven't been here for a while. I'll sum up, shall I?

.: Case & I had our one-year anniversary on the 12th, a big thing for the both of us.
.: I took part in the Lake George Polar Plunge to benefit the NY Special Olympics on Saturday. It was great fun, and I raised $100! That meant I got a sweatshirt, too ^^ I'm looking to do more with them as a volunteer this year, especially since I'm looking into that field for college soonish.
.: I am actually kind of keeping to my goal of staying organized this year. It feels good when I have things in place, though I would like to keep my room a bit tidier. I have rediscovered my all-too-dorky love of Real Simple magazine, and I've taken to browsing their website for ideas. It's done wonders, including inspiring me to write-down all my assignments so I do not forget homework as I have done in the past! It's the little things.
.: We're doing Hamlet in English class, which normally I would enjoy immensely, being Shakespeare and all. However, we've got a student teacher. I feel kind of bad saying negative things about someone who's still learning, but she's just so patronizing and seems to be underestimating our intelligence. It's incredibly frustrating.
.: I obviously have not done much for my sleeping habits.
.: I'm hesitant to say this because I so epically failed last year, but I want to do HOLIDAY CARDS this year. I still have Kristina, Caleb, and Kate's addresses from last year (though I'm guessing Kate's has changed?), so you will all be getting one for sure. Anyone else who wants a bit of cheer from yours truly please leave your information on this post; comments will be screened.

Wow, hey guys! I know it's been ages, and I apologize. Six weeks, according to my LJ homepage. But here I am! =D

Since I've last written, I have gotten two jobs, started reading Not Always Right-which I find possibly more entertaining than I should, been asked what I'm thinking about for college/life 84632142301473285 times, gone to the drive-ins, reread almost half of HarryPotter&theHBP in the past three days, done an adequate job keeping up with what's happening in the world, spent more than 3/4 of my waking hours with le Case, gotten into Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and spent considerably less time on the internet.

On Monday, I started working at the Tennis Club. Casey is brilliant with the plans, this one being to work there this summer so I can learn how to play and try and get some semblance of skills so I can join the girls' tennis team this fall! So far, not tooooo shabby, I guess. I'll work on it. ;P
I also decided I want a kuvasz puppy when I get out of my mum's house. AREN'T THEY JUST THE CUTEST THING YOU'VE EVER SEEN?! I lovelovelovelovelovelove them ^^

Hey there, glorious flist.
I'm trying to set up a WANT-TO-READ List for myself. I love reading, it just always fades into the background if I don't have a good book, or at least a title, waiting for me. I plan to resolve that! As long as school and such doesn't get in my way =P

I now declare this post officially open for recommendations--books, authors, series, throw it all at me! Anything and everything is greatly appreciated.
